Iris have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Central Florida and a Master's Degree in Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Florida. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse for ten years at an endoscopy department. During that time she was able to see first hand how gastrointestinal disorders can affect patients lives. Being a part of Gastroenterology and Nutritional Specialists allows her to care for patients with these disorders and improve their health outcomes. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
